International Day of Families 2023

“Family is not an important thing. It's everything.” – Michael J. Fox

“This annual observance reflects the importance which the international community attaches to families as basic units of society.”

As parents, we want our children to have the best start in life possible, and the family as foundation has shown to dramatically impact a child’s success. The more stable the family environment for a child, the more likely they will be healthier – both mentally and physically.

This year on World Family Day, we want to talk about the importance of understanding diversity.

We are all individually unique. This means that when we create families, they are also unique. Families can be different in structure, size, ethnicity, religion and many more aspects.

Let’s explore how family diversity plays a role in our school community and join us as we discover different languages, cultures, family composition and sizes and their dreams, struggles and stories.

Please help us complete the following family questionnaire. You can complete as many questions, as you would like to share with the WellKind School Community!

Thank you and happy Family Day!
