January in a Glance!

Look at the amazing things happening in our classrooms this January!

Infant Classroom

In January, infants will be focusing on building muscle strength and gross motor skills. Infants will complete individualized activities to advance their current skills and work on the next skill through fun and challenging movement.

Young Toddler Classroom

This month Young Toddlers will be focusing on motor skills. We will paint with different materials and make sticker scenes. It's going to be an exciting month!

Older Toddler Classroom

This month the Older Toddlers will be working on expanding our vocabulary and focusing on kindness and building friendships. We will also be making friendship bracelets and having a digital show and tell!

Preschool Classroom

Preschoolers will be working on patience this month, which is our word of the month. We will also be going on a Safari with our lessons from Africa to our own backyard. We will be having a lot of fun!

Pre K Classroom

Pre K will kick off the New Year by focusing on kindness. We will put on our explorer hats and go on Safari with lessons from Africa and closer to home too. We will practice writing our names and learn new sight words. It's going to be a fun month!

Pre K Counts Classroom

This month PreK Counts will be focusing on our self-awareness. Some of our affirmations this month will be “I am understanding” and “I am brave.” We will explore and observe the world in this month’s Safari theme. We will learn about habitat, culture, and the effects that our choices can have on our surroundings.

School Age Classroom

Young School Age will be working on friendships this month. Some of our affirmations are "I am friendly by nature" and "I like making friends", "I trust myself". "I have a big heart", "I can make a difference. " We will be creating a friendship journal and playing games that develop social bonds.

Rachel Ingalls- Infant Classroom

Miss Rachel has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Counseling. She has been professionally working with young children since 2007. Her top 3 character strengths are: Love, Fairness, and Kindness.

Paola Alicea- Young Toddler Classroom

Miss Paola is an Early Childhood Education student at St. Francis University pursuing her Associate's Degree. Her top 3 character strengths are: Honesty, Creativity, and Love of Learning

Phajé Britton- Older Toddler Classroom

Miss Phajé has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and she wants to be an advocate for children. Her top 3 character strengths are: Fairness, Hope and Love.

Marigrace Remetta- Preschool Classroom

Miss Marigrace has a Child Development Associate Credential. She has extensive experience with young children and brings that passion to the classroom each day. Her top 3 character strengths are: Love, Perspective, and Creativity.

Nicole Krewson PreK Classroom

Miss Nicole has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies and has many years of experience working with children. Her top 3 character strengths are: Love of Learning, Fairness and Honesty.

Kaleb Lorow Pre K Counts Classroom

Kaleb has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and has experience working with a wide range of age groups. His top 3 character strengths are: Patience, Love, and Leadership
